What is Mempool
The mempool is the space on a blockchain network node where transactions awaiting confirmation are temporarily stored. Once transactions are confirmed and incorporated in a block, the node discards them from its pool.
Mempools can be of different sizes because nodes’ hardware and RAM space are distinctive, and transactions arrive at nodes at heterogeneous times.
