What is Mining
Mining is a method of verifying transactions and then adding them to the blockchain once authenticated. Mining requires significant computing power to solve difficult mathematical equations, and hence, it is very costly. However, a miner is rewarded with cryptocurrency if he solves the problem and confirms the transaction before other miners on the network.
